About Us

EKTA Ventures, LLC

The Innovation to Enterprise (I2E) Network brings together an experienced team of mentors, from around the globe with hands-on subject matter expertise across agriculture, automated manufacturing, design engineering, financial analysis & modeling, generative AI, fund administration, lean process design, project management, and rural community development.

We come together in agile, application-specific, cross-functional Mentor Scrums to work interactively with founders and leaders, accelerating learning on both sides and helping with the transformation of innovations into real-world enterprises.

The I2E Mentor Network supports the work of the Innovation and Commercialization team at the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology. We have worked with startups from the last two cohorts of the Institute’s AgTech Accelerator and will serve as their mentoring team for all future cohorts, starting in 2026.

Our core guiding principles are that resilient enterprises are impact inspired, market driven and profit minded. Our resilience roadmap tracks the enterprise journey across three ranges: Proof-of-Concept, Proof-of-Market and finally, Proof-of-Enterprise. We engage actively with all our startups, so they understand this framework and our assessment criteria.

Many I2E Network Mentors previously worked together with university-sponsored startups, selected through a global competition, at the largest early-stage accelerator in the world. Our work with these aspiring entrepreneurs equipped them to shape their ideas into viable ventures and realize their potential. It was an enriching, fulfilling, and rewarding experience.

We’re committed to taking every opportunity to continue this early-stage work, encouraging young minds to find the best within themselves and offer it to the world.

With that in mind, at the 2023 G20 summit in India we showcased a selection of startups from 12 countries on the Environment, Global Health, Supply Chain Resilience and Technology.

The official joint communiqué from all G20 members at the summit event, recognized that:

Startup enterprises are the source of most innovative ideas, and

Innovation is the most impactful engine of growth in all their economies.
